1. Room service making up rooms was equally spotty, some days room would be made up nicely, other times no new towels and the only way you knew the room was made up was the bed was made and the notepad where I had left a thank you note and $5 tip for housekeeping was literally tossed across the table (maybe it was a bad tip?).
"Tired, understaffed unfriendly hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/18/2012 Vote
2. I get they don't want to pay the extra staff down at the pool and they have these ridiculous towel cards, but why not have the towels at the restaurant which is near the pool and let the hostess deal with it.
"Its Not Bad if You Have Low Expectations " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/21/2012 Vote
3. Secondly, the rooms were not 'turned down' in the evening so we had to use dirty and wet towels from the beach for our showers.
"very disappointing....too many hidden costs...beware and avoid ! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/15/2012 Vote
4. They also have a very annoying system for the pool towels - you have to hand in a slip of paper to get a towel, and they tell you that if you don't hand in all your slips at the end of the stay you will be charged $35 per towel.
"Surly service, poor value for price " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/13/2012 Vote
5. The $20 resort fee (which I hate) included beach towels, 1/2 day snorkeling gear and self parking.
"Lovely resort, everthing was great except the food/drink prices " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/25/2011 Vote
6. Towel cards were annoying.

8. We were instantly welcomed and given a temporary suite to change, shower, stow away our luggage, and given towel vouchers for there several pools.
"Top notch in accommodations, top shelf in service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/7/2012 Vote
9. With regards to service, I had to call for bath towels (they gave us only one) and the last morning when I could have really used that in room coffee, they only left decaf.
"Not up to current standards for business travel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/3/2012 Vote
10. I think Marriott could make this hotel a 5 star by just upping the service ever so slightly (no 'coupons' for towels; a little service on the beach; acknowledge anniversaries, repeat customers, put some waters and/or fruit or flowers in the room).
"Overall, pleasantly surprised! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/6/2012 Vote
