3. Waikoloa beach seems to be this over-done tourist Mecca that would look like the surrounding countryside (black lava) but for the careful landscaping, watering and architecture.

7. The drive was not bad at all and very pretty, you see diverse landscapes starting in jungle passing rainforest terrain and waterfalls down to the coast line of volcanic rocks and beaches.
