4. The hallway leading to our room however, was waaaay back around the side of the hotel - felt like a half mile from the front desk, restaurant, pool, etc. And, the paint was cracked here and there, baseboards peeling, carpet stained along the hallway.

5. When we contacted the front desk, the clerk suggested it was the ice machine next door, which we went and investigated; that was not the source of the noise.

6. However in the morning the lady at the front desk (Elizabeth I think) was very helpful and sorted this mistake out for me,this was the only member of staff inclined to go out of her way to assist us,thank you Elizabeth.

7. Although the company I had made the reservations through had messed up the reservation, the front desk was able to correct the number of nights and they tried their best to correct the room.

8. The Waikoloa Beach Marriott has fantastic hospitality from the front desk, bartenders, waitress/waiters, to housekeeping all of them truly care that your stay is perfect.
