2. The beach is open to the public and there's an extensive set of rental gear available (snorkels, kayaks, boogie boards, etc.)As in most of these places there a mandatory daily resort fee which covers self-parking, Internet access, etc. The hotel has done a bit of a stealth price increase over the past three years, in that the resort fee used to include a welcoming mai tai or pina colada for two plus a 1/2 day snorkel rental each day.
"Beautiful and friendly Marriott right on the beach " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/26/2012 Vote
3. not up to snuff for the high ticket price at allthen they try to slip a bill under your dour to tax you an extra 25 a day for internet (didnt even use it) and parking?had a way better time down in kona at uncle billys for cheap (no hidden fees for internet and such)there are lots of nice places to stay around kailua-kona for cheaper with nearby awesome beaches and nice little kailua-kona town with food and activitiesluckily we only wasted one day therelive and learng and k =).

4. They highlight this free internet as part of the $25 daily resort fee, but I couldn't even use the internet in the rooms because I only have an Iphone and Ipad.

8. There is a $20.00 resort fee that covers parking and internet (this was not wireless and was one of the few things that we did not like but overall the resort fee is quite reasonable) also you receive 1/2 day snorkle gear on the beach each day.
