9. the horibble front desk who tried to tell us only smoking rooms are available- until we threatened to leave- then one non-smoking magically opened upthe room was HORRIBLE- borken tiles in the shower, coffee maker in the bathroom (appetizing) terrible bed and stained carpet, scratched armoir- veiw of the trash dumpster in the courtyard- would have complained but we were exhausted from drving up from Savannah GA so we just gave up.

10. Yes, it`s under renovation to become The Fairfax but as far as I can see all available rooms are remodeled with new beds, furniture, fixtures, etc. It was an apartment building once upon a time and the rooms are all a bit different, some small, some with tubs, some with little counter space at the bathroom vanity.
