1. Our room was positioned internally so we didn`t hear any street noise but the noise of our next door neighbors was noticeable and they weren`t being overly noisy.

2. The hotel is directly across the street from the Indian embassy (and a cool statute of Ghandi) and within walking distance of several other embassies.

3. The staff was very nice and offered a wonderful recommendation for dinner (Pizza Paradiso which is on P street just around the corner from the hotel - the food was wonderful but get there early -before 8pm - because they get very busy and the dining room is small).

4. The metro is an easy walk a street away at Dupont circle, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a Krispy Keme donut shop close by.

5. Unless you want to hunt for a space on the street, the only parking at the Westin is valet in the hotel`s underground garage (I think only employees are allowed to access it).
