1. Check in is very casual, and note that if you book through a third party site like I did and try to add a second name to the registration in case they are arriving seperately, when the record is transferred over, the second name will become the first and they will only be able to see that name.

4. Having handed over car parking duties to the valet (at $36 pn the one irritation with the Solamar, to be honest) check-in went smooothly & professionally and we made our way up to our room on the 9th floor, high up with a view as requested as part of the online booking.

We read Trip Advisor reviews before choosing this hotel and were very excited about our visit From the moment we arrived, having the door opened for us upon our arrival and a very warm welcome at check-in, to the present, we have been SO impressed with the level of service from all employees at this hotel.

10. Check-in was a breeze with a $10 mini bar voucher :) The room itself was a great size, had a comfortable bed, and a really nice view of the pool.
