1. I could leave all the details but here is the short story: very long check-in line due to renovations/construction as well as clueless/inadequate number of agents checking people in.

2. The casino area was under construction in several areas but the construction didn't bother me.

3. When I arrived the hotel smelled of paint thinner (they are doing some construction).
"Great, once you get through check in " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/21/2012 Vote
4. The hotel's 'soundtrack' was so welcoming (if you love music, you will definitely appreciate this) and everything just kinda jumps out at you, to where you're like, 'wow, where do I begin?' Although the casino was directly in front of check-in, I didn't feel overwhelmed with cigarette smoke, and the construction is such that you don't really have to go through the casino (a plus for non-gamblers like me) to get to everything else.

6. Every morning we ate breakfast the staff was rude and it was like eating at a construction site as they were repairing a part of the casino next to the restaurant.

10. After being on hold for 7 minutes, I was finally put in touch with a manager who was very sympathetic [she could hear the construction noises through the phone, it was that loud] & offered to upgrade us to a corner room AND give us $50 F&B credit.
