1. I did not leave the hotel it is off the strip but they do offer a free shuttle.

5. Caught the free shuttle bus into the strip - which was packed, people had to miss out as there weren't enough seats, we ended up walking in most days (good 20min walk) and catching a taxi home ($8-15).

WELL its for the use of the pool and hot tub (That was closed) its for the WIFI internet (that never worked anywhere in the hotel the time we were there) its for the use of the room phone to make local calls ( had no one to call) its for complementary newspapers that I guess you have to ask for at the front desk because they don't deliver them to your room, its for the complimentary shuttle that takes you to the mall (which is paid for by the mall).
