1. Vintage old hotel, front rooms face the street and you can hear the cable car bells as the cars run up and down Powell Street nearby, but also hear the traffic street noises, since the window glass is old and not insulated.

10. The street and corridor noises carry through the walls and windows so light sleepers might want to consider using earplugs as I did for some nights.
