Vintage old hotel, front rooms face the street and you can hear the cable car bells as the cars run up and down Powell Street nearby, but also hear the traffic street
noise
s, since the window glass is old and not insulated.

noise
, that stuff doesn't bother me - was the significant

The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars was because although I had asked for an interior room, there was a lot of
noise
from the electric units outside the window.

After having read the previous reviews about too much street
noise
in the front facing rooms, I immediately decided to ask for a room away from the street side.

The street and corridor
noise
s carry through the walls and windows so light sleepers might want to consider using earplugs as I did for some nights.
