1. I took the necessary precautions found on the bed bug registry and managed to stay only because I had it paid for and didn't bring home any bugs.

2. but we checked for bugs because when we checked in there was a couple who had bites all over them from bed bugs.

3. We look up how to get rid of them and I guess pesticides don't kill the actual bug.

4. Continued _ 8/4/2011 so I am finding these bugs and saving them in a bag that came from us staying at the Powell hotel, we are frantically washing and vacuuming everything.

5. I guess a bug can live up to a year off of one feeding and can continue to lay eggs everyday.

6. Me and my wife stayed at this hotel last April 11', and we were very pleased with its location, room space and cleanliness (fortunately we haven't found any bugs people are saying).

7. I've done a thorough inspection of my bedroom, and if I brought back any bugs with me, this hotel is going to know about it.

8. Since I'm not prone to allergies, I'm thinking I either carried bugs back with me (though I haven't shown any symptoms before now, and I carefully laundered everything when I got back), or I was bitten there and am only now showing signs of the bites.

9. Needless to say, this ruined my trip b/c I was freaking out that I would take the bugs home with me in my suitcase.
