1. A room change at my request shifted me from a tiny room with a stains, miniscule bathroom and internal service channel view to a slightly larger room with stains, larger bathroom (no bath) and another service channel with loud defcating pigeons.

2. Room was clean, though carpet was stained and bathroom shower floor was peeling, and truthfully, I opted for sponge baths rather then step in it (will bring flipflops next time).

4. Apparently the water pipes of the hotel are connected to their electrical wires, and if you take a bath it will cause a fire (strange excuses by the manager).

5. The place shows its age but the price was right ($119/nite and $31 for valet parking), the service was friendly, the beds were comfortable (we had a funny little corner room with tall twin beds) and it was clean enough, although there was hair (not ours) on the floor in the bath - always a yuck for me.

6. the room was a good size and the bathroom was massive just shame about the tiny bath but we stayed at 5 different hotels and found that all but one had extremely TINY baths so it seems that is the norm in america.
