1. My only complaint would be an odd feature of our room door: you had to really shove it closed, which caused noise that might disturb others.

8. Unfortunately the hotel is situated close enough to the buildings around it that in some rooms it picks up the local HVAC noise.

9. As the hotel is only 17 floors, the street noise is not entirely eliminated - you'd probably have to at least be double the height- but the location of our room away from internal noise sources and not facing Michigan Ave was most likely the best the hotel could offer.

10. I had insisted on a number of items 3 weeks prior to arriving at the hotel when making my reservation - quiet area of the hotel limiting noise from external and internal sources; having the use of a mini fridge and a coffee maker during our stay.
