1. We were some of the last people to get dropped off when we took the shuttle from the airport so we stopped at several other (more expensive) hotels on the way, and I have to say that we had the best location of all of them as far as proximity to the beach.

2. They smiled, were friendly, explained how far places were, which buses to use, etc. One even helped, on our behalf, with a disagreement with one of the shuttle bus drivers on our last day there.

6. Front desk staff were very helpful in giving us Australian tourists advice and tips on everything to do with Hawaii, booking us shuttles to take us everywhere, photocopying bus timetables for us and showing us how to get from place to place, as well as just being so cheerful and friendly.

7. We walked pretty much everywhere, the buses to Ala Moana stopped right outside the Aqua Bamboo, Tour shuttles to Paradise Cove Luau's ect, were on the next block & the International Market Place / Beach / Kalakaua Ave were like a 3 minute walk away a few cons.

9. The only negative thing was the shuttle service that the hotel uses to get to the airport was late and the operator was a little rude so you might want to make your own shuttle arrangements.

10. The location is very convenient - bus stop is just down the road, and shuttle stops for the Waikele Outlets shuttle and the Ala Moana trolley are less than 5 min walk away.
