2. The furniture is mismatched and not in great shape - The decor looks like a bachelor's apartment who is just out of college and has been collecting friend's furniture (we even had a futon covered in a sheet in the living room.

8. This place is wonderful - classy decor, microwave, mini-ref in a small kitchenette with basic stuff, large closet, free w-fi in the lobby and internet in the room etc. Yes, my room was facing the busy Kuhio Ave and noise filtered in and I'm such a light sleeper anyway.

Summary:Pros: Great price, prime location in Waikiki, nice kitchen in room, nice decor, free internet access, bottled water on check-in, very nice cabanas and other seating by poolCons: Hotel front desk is woefully understaffed, building is not in great shape, pool is very small, service is not great, *bad* street noise, Tips: if you drive, make sure to get the 50% off parking deal on the website.
