4. We got a couples massage from the spa which was great, but watch out for the gratuity/service charge - it is already included when they ring you up so if you feel you want to pay more that 18% for a tip the add additional dollars to the reciept.

5. There is a good sized pool, two spas, a couple of restuarants, star bucks and shops attached to the hotel and of course Waikik Beach on the back door step.

6. The food and cocktails were really great, especially between 3 and 5 , we grabbed half price cocktails and sat in the spa, a great way to relax before dinner.

7. The beach chairs/umbrella's on the beach, the spa, the convenience store in the lobby, etc. Each contractor has their own processes and requirements for service and for payment, which are not obvious.

9. Fantastic to sit in the very warm spas on an evening, listening to live Hawaiian style music that didn't burst my eardrums and watching the flames from the torches around the pool and bar area.
