1. My husband could barely take calls during the day with all the noise.

2. Yes the place could use sprucing up and hallway smelled a bit musty, but the location was superb, the rooms large and clean, the street noise was acceptable, and the value was there.

4. Also the rooms are not sound-proof, you can hear water running down the pipes and street noise but we were in a higher level, K street facing room, so it didn't become a big problem.

6. I also had to deal with noise from the A/C unit.
