1. Very close to DuPont circle and the Metro stop and plenty of other dining options.

2. This was not a big problem because there is a large sink area with plenty of counterspace but is definitely a surprise compared to the size of the rest of the room - I imagine this is a remnant from before the hotel was renovated.
