1. Everyone from Darryl and Daisey at the front desk, to Chris at the restaurant, and the hotel assistant general manager took great care of us and made sure that all our needs were met.

3. Numerous wear and tear issues in my guest room, such as a broken doorstop, black marks on walls, chipped tiles in bathroom, yellow stains in the shower and generally dirty-looking carpet.

7. The property is right on Thomas Circle which is generally pretty convenient but if you are interested in barhopping around nearby Dupont, keep in mind it's still about a 3/4 or 1 mile walk.

8. Its modern with generally smaller rooms so it’s not for everyone but for those who enjoy a boutique hotel, The Donovan House is the place to stay in Washington DC.
