1. We booked this Motel 6 for one night, even though we don't usually stay with this chain, but this particular one is 1/2 block from the beach and we've enjoyed it before for that reason.

2. Planned to arrive late afternoon and leave early so again reason to stay as we just needed somewhere to freshen up after driving 240 miles before a visit to a resteraunt and a bed for the night.

3. Hotel very well located for the beach and it offers reasonable value for Santa Barbara, however it is a long way from State Street (main area), the rooms are very noisy and the customer service could be improved considerably.

4. Floors get really dirty for some odd reason and you have to walk around in flip flops otherwise your feet turn black.
