4. On the plus side, the room was clean, and the location is great, but I would most certainly not recommend this motel, or any of the other cheaper hotels close by for that matter.

5. Wouldn't stay again here again in a room with two double beds but might consider a room with one double bed if it was just for a night and I couldn't find anywhere cheaper.

6. On the drive up [ get a hertz minivan ] from LA Airport I stopped at Target stores and bought a bike for $77 - cheaper than renting - great bike paths in all directions.

7. Santa Barbara itself is lovely and would recommend it as a destination however, during our tour of the state we stayed in much better accommodation for the same, or cheaper rate.
