1. Ok, so they say 'this is Santa Barbara', but we had really excellent hotels in Santa Monica and San Diego, cheaper.

3. We paid $80 for the night - which isn't cheap for a Motel 6, but to be fair, the excellent location does merit the extra expense.

4. The rooms were very clean though but the price was excellent for Santa Barbara and right near the beach which is 1 block away but you can see it from the hotel as well.
