1. At night, hearing the seals barking in the water outside was kind of nice and cool, but on the flip side, I didn't get a great night's sleep because of it.

2. The pool would have been great but the weather was a little too cool.

3. The weather was very cool while we were in San Diego, so we didn't use the pool and only used the hot tub once.

4. the staff at the restaurant were polite, the restaurant nicely located on the water side with nice views, with cool patio, but the quality of the food it self was shockingly very poor.

5. Other items:Swim bar was great place to hang out, casual, great for football watching, cool bartenders (this is a bar BY the pool, not a cheesy swim up bar)Red Marlin food and service was great.

6. The pool was bit on the cool side, despite being heated, but the kids did not mind.

7. Amenities are plentiful with a gorgeous spa, marina with kayak and jet ski rentals, terrific over- water restaurant, lush usable gardens, good parking, and a very cool poolside bar.

8. It was cool that they had a fire pit by the pool every night but if you want to make s'mores, they charge $20 for the s'mores package.

9. The weather was pretty cool (mid 60's) that week, but coming from 100 degree Dallas, TX heat, we didn't mind so much, and it didn't stop our boys from having a BLAST on the water slides.

10. The weather was a surprise, during the day the Sun was warm, but you were never too hot, at night a light sweater or jacket was needed for the cool breeze, although it was in July.
