1. On the plus side, you are only one block from the beach, staff was very friendly, the bar and restaurant are very affordable and good, and the fitness center is actually very nice.

2. I would say that if you prefer the convenience of a hotel and you could afford the $300 a night, then the Catamaran is definitely for you; but if you can live without room service and clean towels then getting a house would give you much more value for the money you'll pay.

3. The studios are mini apartments, which might be nice if you are going to be staying in the area for an extended amount of time and the price is affordable, but the quality is not good .

The grounds are beautiful, all the guests looked really happy and relaxed, they have an AMAZING gym (views of the water and a wonderful breeze from the beach- one of the better workouts I've had), and they have a great brunch place, from what I hear (at 40$/person, I couldn't afford it, but it's supposed to be great).

9. The suite was on the 11th floor and afforded a complete view of Mission Bay, Downtown San Diego, and the Pacific Ocean - in short an awesome complete view of the beauty of San Diego.
