1. The room was suitably large - maybe 400 sq ft (?), fresh clean bathroom, king size bed, big flatscreen, excellent air-conditioning, small fridge, coffee and a sofa.

6. There are restaurants, a grocery store and a Catholic church all within easy walking distance, and getting to/from the airport is easy even for country folk driving in the big city.

7. The hotel was perfectly located right on Pacific Beach and the room itself was lovely -- big and nicely furnished, with a balcony right above the pool from which you could see the ocean.
