1. The reason I am giving this property only an average rating is for a couple of little annoyance that could have easily been avoided, but added pressure to my very crazy/busy week:1.

3. We didn't have breakfast or use the spa at the hotel, that is the only reason I marked it as average.

5. I noticed that some people parked on the street out front, which looked reasonably secure to me.

6. Only drawback in rooms are that they are not equipped with a fridge - there is a 'reasonable'' 20 dollar fee for the duration of your trip if a fridge is needed.

10. We don't always find such customer friendly service these days and because of their bending over backwards to please us, they have made us loyal customers and for that reason we will be back to the DoubleTree on our next visit to San Diego.
