3. TECHNOLOGY: We liked how the hotel makes use of technology by having video monitors at the front desk that show you various informational slides about the hotel.

4. Also, the city trolley is right across the street and will take you to almost any place you would like to go in San Diego.

6. Mission Valley is centrally located if you want to do all that SD has to offer - it is just lacking in character which is why I like downtown.

8. I prefer to stay downtown in San Diego, but all the hotels I liked were booked so I tried this one in Mission Valley.

9. The location of the Doubletree in MV is great because it is easy to get to the shopping areas or nearby places you would tend to go - liked that the trolley is just steps from the hotel and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance if necessary.

10. No matter how often I bothered Seth with my requests, he patiently fulfilled each one of them making me feel like a very welcome guest:) The swimming pools and Jacuzzi are nice; although we did need to hunt someone down to replenish the towels.
