1. an even better idea is to walk two blocks to Schilo's, the breakfast there is $ 6.

2. Do not be fooled into thinking that it is so close to the conference center that it is worth while - the Marriott is across the street if you must go with a name brand, and there are many lovely boutique hotels along the riverwalk which are close and will make your San Antonio experience so much better.

4. And valet champion, Kevin Landeros saved the day after they mistakingly gave my car to another guest and we ended up with the wrong one; Kevin drive the correct car to us up in Austin and gave us a $50 gift card to make it all better-nice save.

5. I asked if I could downgrade to a regular King Room in a better location (there was traffic noise), and they said they were full, and gave me a complementary credit on my bill.

6. When I inquired as to this room really being a Deluxe King, they indicated it was one of their better rooms, as it was in the corner of the floor, and had windows facing North and East.
