3. The location is great, in Northwest Portland, a bustling 'yuppie' neighborhood with upscale shops and restaurants and quiet, tree-canopied streets.

4. That said, you don't need to leave the neighborhood at all - it's a great walking area with tree-lined streets, old houses and apartment buildings, unique shops and restaurants in every direction.

7. we asked for a quiet room, not a good sleeper, and we had a huge room, decorated with bright colors, wire head boards, cute deco pillows, great kitchenette and large bathroom.
