1. Portland is such a pleasant city, you'll want to spend most of your visit out and about, enjoying the beautiful scenery, excellent cuisine, and bustling nightlife.

6. There are two restaurants just across the street: the Wildwood, which is a hip bar and eatery with some excellent, creative dishes and a happy hour from 5 - 6:30 at which drinks and appetizers are half price, and a Moroccan restaurant that serves an inexpensive, fixed price, 5 course menu.
