1. Again, the main reason for our trip was to celebrate the birthdays (two of them were 40th) and it was stated on our confirmation so the hotel was aware.

5. Apparently the garage that the hotel uses is located about 10 blocks away and for some reason it took that long to get the car to us even though we appeared to be the only ones waiting for a car.

7. Given the very attentive service, the great lobby and bar, and the primo location, I would probably stay here again--especially if I could get another $169 rate, which I thought was more than reasonable.

9. The front desk was quick to check us in and to allow us an upgraded corner room on New Years Eve, for no real reason, which made us think that they were underbooked on this usually very busy night.

10. My two complaints concern the food service, and they are not big, but they separate a good hotel from a great hotel, where at a great hotel any reasonable request should be accomplished.
