1. The price was reasonable compared to others in the area, but it is not worth all of the headaches.
"Don't bother " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/21/2012 Vote
2. I usually take my own towels so that wasn't an issue either, I do use the hotel towels to line the shower and floor of the bathroom and when ever I needed more, housekeeping were prompt:) One night the toilet got stopped up, called down and maintenance was there in 3 mins:) The view wasn't an issue either because my blinds stayed closed because me and hubby were never in the room (only to sleep) Also, the rooms were always cleaned upon our arrival:) And the bar next door never kept me up, didnt reslize it existed until a day later:)The only reason I didn't give all 5's is because when I booked I was told free bfast.

5. Appropriate maid service was provided the second two days I was there, and the front desk staff was very pleasant, which is the only reason this hotel gets rated as 'poor' rather than 'terrible.
"I guess I'm really fussy... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/30/2011 Vote
6. When my girlfriend called the front desk to ask a question, she got hung up on for no apparent reason.

7. I went to the Cotton Exchange during the French Quarter Jazz Festival and it was the only reasonably priced hotel I could find close to the quarter and after reading the reviews I was very concerned about what the experience was going to be like.

8. Pros:- near Bourbon st (center of activity in New Orleans's French Quarter)- great location as far as restaurants are concerned- french quarter few blocks away- free internet- a $13 self parking a block away, not sure if i should call it a pro or a con (parking can be expensive in french quarter area so i guess $13 was reasonable).
"Location great... hotel the worst I've seen! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/5/2011 Vote
9. However, the rooms barely qualify as a reasonable sleeping accomodation.
"Unclean, but very convenient " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/27/2011 Vote
10. Yes, the price was reasonable --- but the stay was lousy.
"Really, really disappointing " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/18/2011 Vote
