The breakfast is okay, but who the hell wuold go to
new
Orleans to eat in a hotel continental breakfast? It's the greatest culinary city in America.

I stay there because typically, when in
new
Orleans, you are rarely in the hotel anyway, so what difference does it make? I challenge anyone to find a hotel anywhere near the Quarter for around $100 / night.

We stayed at the Cotton Exchange
new
Orleans from 4/22-4/29/12 had few complaints the lobby was one of the few that didn't offer coffee, had to request towels first day which I attribute to them being able give us a room upon arrival at 10a, check in wasn't suppose to be until 3p.

Did I stay at a different hotel than some of the others in this forum?? Oh, and having lived in
new
Orleans I can tell you that even the nicest, ritziest, most beautiful homes/hotels/country clubs in the city have an occasional cockroach.
