1. I have stayed at other W hotels, so I knew to expect modern and funky decor, but like many other reviewers mentioned, it was the service and the attention to details that really impressed me about the French Quarter W location.

Great first impression of the room; stylish and modernwall were thin enough to hear talking and sexual sounds that were not loud; this is not a party hotel, mostly couples which I likewe were only notified of exisiting renovations and construction after we received the email confirmation> we actually called and ask various questions> i would think they would want to be honest and transparent and have told us then Another couple also confirmed they were not told of this issueOne day on the trip we slept in some; went out for breakfast to return to take showers before we headed out for the day.
