1. It was quiet, steps from the trolley, parking was $17 instead of $32 and you could get to your car easily.

3. Charles is not really quiet, the lobby of the hotel is on a busy street, the rooms, however, are in the back part of the property, surrounded by trees and flower beds - all clean and very well kept.

5. As mentioned above, we moved here after a week in the French Qtr, thinking a week of the downtown maddness would be enough, and we would welcome both a little quiet, and an opportunity to explore the Garden District, Mid-City, and Audobon Park areas more thoroughly.

9. The Jacuzzi was always on, and the area in itself was quiet too so it was a nice extra to our stay; we even took some of our own drinks and snacks down to the poolside tables in the evening and sat there drinking before we went out, which didnt seem to be a problem.

10. Where can you get 4 nights for less than $300 so close to the River front and Quarter with good casual and upscale restaurants close by (and an Office Depot) that's quiet and clean.
