2. Nice decor, reasonably priced, a bit stinky in the lobby but helpful staff, free shuttle to/from LAX, and the rooms are clean -- except, my buddy who stayed in the room across from me got insect bites all over his leg in the one night we were there.

4. So the view of traffic and rooftops festooned with air-conditioning units isn't great? What do you expect? So there's nowhere to walk to? What do you expect? I have no complaints at all, except perhaps for the very strange waiting at dinner.

6. Even though the 5th floor is not under construction, the hallway carpets are filthy and ill-fitted, the hallways are very dim (to hide the dirt?), the room was OK except that there were numerous hairs lying around.

7. If you came on shuttle bus or cab there is basically no place to walk except the McDonalds in the parking lot.
