1. A third call when the hammering continued, and they contacted housekeeping to confirm that yes, construction was happening on floors 3-8.

7. On checkout I complained and was told that there were no executive rooms in the hotel during construction, all rooms were the sam3 - so why did they let me pay the extra for one?.

8. When I booked in advance there was no notification on the website that construction work was taking place at the hotel and they happily charged me the extra over the cost of a standard room for an executive room.

9. On arrival it was clear construction was taking place, we were then placed in an very old, tired room on a low floor, with scaffolding right outside the window.
