5. If the pool is a big seller for you please note the following; the pool is at the side of the building and is surrounded by a large wall, while this allows a fair degree of privacy it also effectively leaves the pool in the shade for most of the day - hence it's freezing cold.

8. If you expect an airport Holiday Inn to be big, comfortable, efficient, convenient and impersonal, then this is exactly what you get at the Holiday Inn LAX.

9. Anyhow it is foolhardy for anyone walking out past 9pm in search of pizza if big Mac or the hotel restaurant won't do.

10. No compliant about their food at the inhouse restaurand and of course if you are scrimping for shopping or the touristy amusement park go get yourself a big mac at the McDonald just outside the hotel.
