4. About the only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that its lobby is lovely and historic.

5. In my humble opinion, the positive reviews of this hotel can only come from (a) people who have never stayed in a real 4 or 5 star property, or (b) people who love historic hotels, despite the fact that this one is direly in need of a renovation.

6. The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, located in downtown Cleveland is a lovely historic hotel that seems to be lagging a bit behind when it comes to modern amenities - however, the very patient and professional staff do their best to make the stay as positive an experience as they can.

9. The air conditioning worked well, but it was an old unit and with a three position switch and the tags specifying what the switch did were worn to the point of being almost unreadable.
