5. Part of the reason for my stay was to deliver gift basket items for my daughter and her fiance, who were arriving the following day for a stay that was a Christmas gift from my wife and me.

8. The room was very comfortable and clean, but certainly not at the level of the larger Boston hotels given the reasonable rate, The shower was a bit small but a fair trade off for the price and location.

9. This intrusiveness made it a hotel I would not recommend or return to in spite of the reasonably ok physical space.

However, the staff was very intrusive, they demanded a mobile phone number on check-in for no good reason, called after I settled in with an obsequious and unnecessary 'welcome' message that disturbed my rest, and the maid service attempted to enter the room in spite of the 'do not disturb' sign.
