2. Its right next to the John Hancock Tower so you are 1 mile from South Station and in convenient walking distance from the Commons and downtown area, cool bars and restaurants of the South End and shops on Newbury Street in the Back Bay area.

3. There was also a subway only a block away for when the weather cooled too much for these Californians so we didn't want to walk.
