1. We had a lovely room and were given an upgrade; the price was very reasonable, but there is no lounge area for the guests.
"Lovely hotel but missing one or two things " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/21/2012 Vote
2. My only reason for not giving a 5 star is that for a 5 star hotel the rooms weren't the carpets needed to be either cleaned or replaced, as far as what to watch on TV not much to choose from and for the price you pay per night they should offer free wifi not charge you per day.
"Boston Marathon 2012 " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/17/2012 Vote
3. The room price was reasonable and certainly less than the Ritz days BUT how can any hotel in this day and age charge for internet service? Two computers = two charges .
"Good but not the Ritz " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/28/2012 Vote
4. As far as prices go, the last time we stayed here our room was $250 and we got a large suite overlooking the public garden; that kind of price just doesn't exist anywhere else (although the Eliot Hotel is also very reasonable and nice, sans the view).
"Great for the Price but Property Really Needs Refurbishment " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/12/2012 Vote
5. I had ordered room service for dinner one night, and the meal portions were tasty, huge and fairly reasonably priced.
"Taj Boston " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/30/2011 Vote
6. Overall, the price of the room was reasonable for a suite and the thrown in extras when booking through an agent improved the value equation somewhat.
"Oldie but goodie " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/6/2011 Vote
7. We ate breakfast in the cafe both mornings - great food, though reasonably pricey (as is the case at this level of property) though we had a food & beverage credit which made the meals almost free.
"Oldie but goodie " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/6/2011 Vote
8. The food was great and reasonably priced.
"Customer Delight " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/5/2011 Vote
9. and if you just want it for 'pleasure' and are desperate to visit the ether then why not just tootle down to the coffee shop 100yds away and spend your days glued to a screen for free? The room fridge was well stocked and for this standard of hotel reasonably priced.
"The Taj is without doubt the best place to stay in Boston! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/29/2011 Vote
10. We were here off peak season so the price we paid was very reasonable.
"Hard to beat " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/10/2010 Vote
