1. We had a park view and the while the room felt a little old, it was still very comfortable and felt like 'old Boston'.

2. Overall really liked the hotel and the tak group but think the hotel needs updating in some areas? Not sure I would be happy to pay the full rack rate until it was updated.

5. In an older building like this one, there are many areas that require additional attention and it is much more difficult to keep things going perfectly.

6. The Taj management has maintained the charm of the original building but greatly improved a few things, like housekeeping, updated interiors of rooms and added authentic Indian ovens & chefs for some delicious Indian food.
