1. I had difficulty doing this on the computers in the Business Center (brand new Macs & an HP - huge screens & printers that work, by the way).
"Absolute best location and service! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/2/2012 Vote
2. Maybe that's why the Ritz left and bought a new hotel as it was too expensive to re-do everything, but if someone invested a little more in the suggestions mentioned above, the hotel could be the best in Boston (and still very well might be already, just need to be reaslistic about the place showing it's age).
"Above Average in some areas, Average in others " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/29/2012 Vote
3. In short, I'm positive about the overall experience, but still felt for the price or overall expectation of a 'luxury hotel' that someone would be able to put it all together with an updated large room w/ furniture that actually fit (insted of a wall unit and small TV that looked out of place), a new carpet and some new paint.

4. This older hotel, newly in the hands of Taj, has a great location.

5. It doesn't compare though when looking at the Mandarin Oriental or Four Seasons (or even some of the smaller new hotels in town).

6. All the furnishings were neat and clean and looked fairly new.

7. And for this price, are we not past cloth shower curtains, really? A rush pressing of my husband's suit and shirt was $26, that shocks even us jaded new Yorkers.
"Great location and service, mediocre room " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/9/2011 Vote
8. The room key never worked properly and after going to the front desk three straight days and after the security personal having to let us in our room after new keys were made everyday I finally lost my lost my cool at the front desk person who gave me a big 'Attitude'.
"Unclean " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/23/2011 Vote
9. the rooms aren't brand new but are a nice size except for the bathroom.

10. The rooms aren't brand new (last refresh was perhaps 2002 I believe) but they are decorated in a traditional taste and are clean and fully serviceable.
"Oldie but goodie " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/6/2011 Vote
