1. Upon arrival we found out they were running under generator power, so that everything was working--elevators, internet, restaurant, etc, but the attached malls were mostly out of commission, the streets were all trafficky (cops directing traffic).

3. Although Marriott may have a good name nationally (better than the Hilton chain which can be quite variable), the mgt at Hilton worked to have generators restore power, internet, hot showers quickly AND put guests up at an alternative Hilton locations (with free transportation) that had power.
