1. but the location is a big plus for me, as is the free parking, the nearby shops, and the park-like feel of surrounding area, which is a welcome respite from the busy city.

3. The only thing I can even think of that I didnt like was the soap dish in the shower sticks out in the middle of the shower so I kept hitting my arm on it.

9. friend who drove me there and has been living in baltimore for years had trouble finding it, and i couldn't get a cab to take me to dinner monday evening (front desk sounded shocked i even asked, then i waited about 45 minutes before giving up)* when i called the front desk to book a cab to get to the airport, i was quoted a rate twice what i'd expected (from asking friends in the area and looking online) Some Redeeming Factors:* room was large and spacious and tastefully decorated, even though everything felt a bit old* restaurant was good for a quick and inexpensive breakfast* shower had fantastic water pressure and temperature* front desk representative was very friendly and helpful on check-in (velma, i believe her name was) * the recommended car service was terrific* there's a great pizza place so nearby that the pizza was still too hot to eat when it was delivered, and deliciousIf you have your own car and do not need anything from the front desk besides checking in, or are a really sound sleeper regardless of noise and comfort, this will likely be a much more pleasant experience.
