1. You would be better off finding someplace else to stay in Las Vegas than Emerald Suites.

2. for us staying as long as we did it suited us fine, getting out of the hussle and bussel of the strip, but i would say that if you are thinking of going to las vegas for just a few days then it may be better to stay in accomodation closer or on the strip.

5. for us, when we take this trip every year we also visit disneyland, and seaworld, so our money goes there also so we cant spring the extra 250 for the four days in vegas for a better place and thats fine as we are mostly out anyways.

It's way, way too far out, it's basically cheap, long stay rooms, and if I were a Nicolas Cage 'Leaving Las Vegas' type resident viewing it through an alcoholic haze I think I'd be very happy, but as short stay family accommodations, there are far better and closer to the action, the utterly superb Desert Rose comes to mind (A converted former apartment complex but done right).
