2. For as much as you pay a night you would think that this would have been done awhile ago; Staff was somewhat cool, although we found this to be the case at all but 1 of the 5 hotels we stayed at in TX.

3. The public areas of the hotel itself SCREAMS 1980s but that is fine, it is very nicely appointed, well kept and to me the 80s styling is cool.

4. The curtains kept out the sun as well, so we had a quiet, cool, snug area for sleeping.

5. The weather was on the cool side during my stay, which made my walk across the Congress Avenue bridge -- to go toward the northern part of town -- every morning (and night) nice, though I imagine this would be less pleasant when it`s hot out.

6. Suite amenities - TWO televisions, microwave, small fridge; living room has couch and armchair and study desk/chair; bedroom has king bed and very cool hotel-brand alarm clock to which you can attach your iPod and play your own MP3 music3.
