6. The conference rooms were not heated and cooled properly, so that all of the interior rooms (not on an exterior wall) were boiling hot and the ones on exterior walls were freezing.

7. Heating and cooling in the room was also up to standard, and the hotel was quiet, though I suspect this is not always the case on weekends (we saw large teen groups coming in and the 'no partying in the rooms' sign goes up on Friday night).

8. Although the weather was cool rather than hot, and there were no wild flowers in the Hill Country, everything else about our vacation was great.
