1. between Christmas and new Years) the hotel is a bit of a madhouse, with so many people going to the bar and Ajax just to hang out.

4. Only downside is that the new decor of the hotel is not very Colorado, but it's still comfortable, I didn't spend that much time in my room when I'm in Aspen anyway so I didn't mind, and the amazing service and location totally made up for it.

6. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean with all the ameneties you need (40 inch plasma and so on) and I understand they are being renovated this year which is fantastic news although their condition was already brilliant.

8. The chairs are newly upholstered and new carpet, not what is on their website again, so be careful if you are planninga destination event.
